Conjugation Drill · Chapters 1–3

Every verb from your first three hours, one form at a time. être and avoir, the regular -er engine, faire and aller, and your routine verbs. The aim is speed and accuracy until the forms come without thinking. Type each form, press Enter, fix what is off. Drill a block, reset, run it again.

How to use this

Type the verb form, then press Enter or Check. A block is solid when you can clear it twice with no misses. For routine verbs, the full form (je me lève) and the bare verb (lève) both count. Accents matter: a missing accent gets flagged, not failed.

How to drill this

Don't run it once and move on. Pick a block, clear it, hit reset, run it again. A form is solid when you can produce it without reading the English and without pausing. The four irregulars (être, avoir, faire, aller) need the most reps. The reflexive pronoun on routine verbs is the other thing people drop under pressure.

Put faire, aller, and se lever in Anki as full present-tense cards and review both directions, ten minutes a day. That plus this page makes the forms automatic.
